Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role located in Osoyoos, BC. The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescriptions accurately, providing medication counseling, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, assessing drug interactions and therapeutic appropriateness, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role involves collaborating with pharmacy team members, coordinating workflow, and supporting inventory management, including ordering and handling medications and pharmacy supplies. The Pharmacist will also provide health and wellness advice, administer applicable vaccinations (where authorized), and contribute to a positive, efficient, and safe customer experience. Qualifications

Possession of a current license to practice as a Pharmacist in British Columbia and eligibility for good standing with the provincial regulatory college. Strong clinical knowledge in pharmacotherapy, prescription assessment, and drug interaction review, with a focus on safe and effective patient care. Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing systems, medication records management, and basic computer applications used in retail pharmacy settings. Effective communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain medications, side effects, and health information clearly to diverse patients. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy team, manage workload, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance in all aspects of pharmacy practice. Experience in community or retail pharmacy is an asset; familiarity with immunization services and clinical programs is beneficial. Willingness to work flexible hours as required by the store schedule and to support the needs of the local community.
