Job responsibilities:

• Performing Preventive Care.
• Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing of teeth.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Assess and monitor patients? oral health and document any concerns or issues.
• Assist the dentist with the identification of oral health issues, such as cavities, gum disease, or other abnormalities.
• Ensure a sterile and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and the guidelines of the CDHO and public health authorities.

Education & Certification:

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Active registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Requirements*:*

• 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred; new graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Cantonese speaker required

Physical Requirements: Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, bending, and assisting with patient movement when necessary.
