Position #: 096678 Expected Start Date: To be Determined, Posted Until Filled Union: HSAS Facility: Yorkton Regional Health Centre City/Town: Yorkton Department: Respiratory Services Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: July 31, 2026 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends, Standby Number of Hours per Rotation: Per 12 weeks:- 36 shifts of 12 hours- 3 shifts of 8 hours Relief: No Float: NoHours of Work: Extended Shift Hours (8 and 11.78 hours) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Respiratory Therapist - Diploma $38.647 to $47.144 Travel Required: No Job Description: Respiratory therapists evaluate, treat and manage patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders in a wide variety of clinical settings. Respiratory therapists must demonstrate behaviour and ethics that are consistent with the standards and ethics of all health care professionals. In addition to performing respiratory therapy procedures, Respiratory Therapists are involved in clinical decision making (such as patient evaluation, treatment selection and assessment of treatment efficacy) and patient education. Respiratory Therapists report directly to the Director of Respiratory Services.
