Company Description Role Description The Home Health Aide role is a part-time, on-site position based in Guelph, ON. The Home Health Aide will support the client in their home with daily living tasks dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and basic household activities. Responsibilities include providing respectful personal care, monitoring clients’ general well-being, assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping, and supporting safe use of equipment as needed. The role involves clear communication with clients, families, and supervisors, documenting care activities, and promptly reporting changes in client condition. The Home Health Aide will follow established health and safety procedures and contribute to a supportive, dignified care environment aligned with the family’s needs. The family has a medium sized, friendly dog. So he will need care as well. Qualifications Ability to provide high-quality Home Care and compassionate Personal Care in a private home Experience supporting Activities of Daily Living, including mobility, hygiene, and routine household tasks. Going for walks. Strong Communication skills for interacting with family and other care providers Knowledge of basic Patient Care practices, including observing and reporting changes in condition and supporting safe environments. Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Personal Support Worker, or similar role is an asset. Relevant experience but no certificate is required Ability to work on-site in Guelph, ON, including flexibility for part-time shifts and reliable attendance. Demonstrated respect for client dignity, confidentiality, and professional ethical standards.
