Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to support our healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans, managing patient needs, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Duties

• Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment sessions
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is sanitized and ready for use
• Support patients during therapy exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety
• Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes
• Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies to ensure patient safety
• Provide compassionate patient care, demonstrating excellent communication skills and empathy

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
• Experience with patient care, including assisting with mobility and rehabilitation exercises
• Knowledge of hospital procedures, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Certification or training related to physiotherapy assistance is mandatory

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
