Job Summary
At Mad Science & Imagine Arts Academy we are having a blast. Build and fly rockets, demonstrate lasers, and help children create slime and other polymers. Create Art with Purpose as you discover different mediums while exploring different Art ideas and techniques from around the world. You will inspire the next generation of scientists and artists through our innovative activities that show kids what science & art is really all about.
We are currently looking for OUTGOING and DYNAMIC people to lead our Summer Camps!
Are you looking for a job that's FUN and gives you loads of EXPERIENCE in the spotlight? Look no further than MAD SCIENCE & IMAGINE ARTS ACADEMY camps!
We provide the training and equipment, and handle all the booking and scheduling from our office. All you do is have fun with the kids!
Availability Requirements:
Available 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM for at least 6 weeks between June 29- Sept. 4 Available for training during the last two weeks of June
Other Requirements:
Must be willing to travel within the GTA - Access to a Vehicle with a Valid G or G2 License is a must! An OUTGOING and DYNAMIC personality Experience with groups of children ages 4-12 Reliable Vehicle for all working hours (A MUST!) A cell phone Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 45 lbs Lots of ENERGY Camp Experience a bonus! All employees are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Check at time of hiring CPR C & First Aid Certificate required (can be obtained after hiring) Principals of Healthy Child Development training - High Five
Successful candidates are also:
Responsible - able to conduct programs safely and efficiently Reliable - always on time, always prepared Adaptable - able to adjust to every environment and group type Professional - comfortable dealing with everyone from parents to principals Flexible - able to function in a business where schedules and workloads are at the mercy of the customer FUN!!!
