The Health Care Aide provides support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living under the direction of nursing staff. They are responsible for maintaining person-centered care standards and exercising independent judgment in daily work priorities. Candidates must possess a Grade 12 diploma and a Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program. One to two years of experience in a health care setting, particularly with elderly or disabled clients, is preferred.
