Role Description The Physiotherapist is a part-time, on-site role based at our Newmarket, ON clinic. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing clients’ musculoskeletal conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing hands-on manual therapy. The role involves prescribing and supervising targeted exercise programs, and administering modalities such as TENS/EMS, therapeutic ultrasound, acupuncture, and Shockwave therapy in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulations. The Physiotherapist will also educate clients on self-management strategies, document clinical findings and progress, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed. This position requires a strong commitment to client-centered care, professional ethics, and maintaining organized, timely clinical records. Qualifications Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate provincial regulatory body; degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent. Clinical skills in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment, including manual therapy and exercise prescription. Proficiency in using therapeutic modalities such as TENS/EMS, therapeutic ultrasound, acupuncture, and Shockwave therapy, or willingness to train. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and motivate clients and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Ability to manage a part-time clinical caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate, timely documentation. Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
