Position Title: Registered Practical Nurse Hourly Rate: $50,000-$55,000 Job Class: Full-time, 40 hours per week Work Location: Onsite (North York) Position Summary: To monitor Participant safety while they are in confinement, in compliance with the study protocols, SOP’s, regulatory requirements, and business needs of the company. Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform ECG, vital signs, obtain blood sample and study specific testing. * Obtain medical history and informed consent from study participants during screening and on-study as required. * Explanation of the use of study drug(s). * Dispense and Administer study drug(s) * Receive physician medication orders and administer medications from the crash cart. * Continuous monitoring of study participants during study. * Report adverse events. * Catheter insertion and removal. * Perform drug/cotinine screening/testing and alcohol test. * Proper collection, handling, and processing of PK/PD samples. * Monitor and maintain Crash Cart. * Cardiac Monitoring (Telemetry) (RN & Paramedic only). * Perform Advanced Medical Directives in case of emergency as per Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator directives and within scope of training ang qualifications. * Assisting with emergency procedures and initiating first aid as required. * Maintain accurate, complete, legible, and timely documentation and data entry. * Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of study participant data. * Verifying calibration and expiry dates of clinic equipment, supplies and medications. * Supporting procedure room preparation and cleanliness. * Write and/or review source documentation forms. * Serve and/or monitor meals. * Performs other tasks and projects as assigned. Qualifications: * Education: Current RPN registration with the regulatory body in Ontario. * Current BLS/ACLS certification. * Good interpersonal skills, good communication skills. * Attentive to details, good initiative and able to work with changing priorities. * Computer skills an asset. * Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current RPN registration in Ontario and possess valid BLS/ACLS certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a flexible, detail-oriented environment, are required.
