Job Summary: As a Personal Support Worker, you'll provide compassionate in-home support that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. You'll work closely with clients, families, fellow caregivers, and our nursing team to provide thoughtful, relationship-focused care tailored to each client's goals, routines, and preferences. Home care gives you the opportunity to slow down, get to know the people you support, and become an important part of their lives and their care journey. Responsibilities Personal care and hygiene assistance Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting support Meal preparation and nutritional support Light housekeeping and laundry Mobility assistance and fall prevention Safety monitoring and wellness checks Medication reminders Dementia care and companionship Supporting emotional well-being and social engagement Observing and reporting changes in client condition Maintaining accurate electronic documentation Communicating observations and concerns with families and the care team Transportation to appointments and community activities, where applicable Qualifications Personal Support Worker Certificate from an accredited program* CPR and Standard First Aid certification* Experience supporting seniors in home care, retirement living, long-term care, or community settings preferred Experience supporting clients living with dementia is considered an asset Strong written and verbal English communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to care Comfortable working independently in clients' homes Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and documentation Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred Clear Vulnerable Sector Check* Legal eligibility to work in Canada* *Required Immunizations Negative two-step TB test Diphtheria & Tetanus Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) Varicella (Chickenpox) / Zoster Hepatitis B How to Apply: If you're someone who genuinely cares and takes pride in supporting others, we would love to hear from you.
