The Medical Office Assistant provides administrative support to the inter-professional team by managing patient intakes, referrals, and scheduling. They are responsible for maintaining accurate records within the electronic medical records system and providing frontline customer service.

Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist Full-time (24 months) contract position with potential for permanent Start Date: October 20, 2026 As a member of the team, the MOA will provide administrative support to the Inter-professional team. This is a frontline position and includes, welcoming clients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing associated documents, managing referrals and new patient intakes, and other required administrative duties. Working within PS Suites electronic medical records system is a daily expectation of the role. This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week including 1 evening shift per week. We offer competitive salary, generous paid time off and HOOP. This position will primarily support the Breslau site but may be asked to cover in Kitchener and Cambridge on occasion. Requirements: Diploma or certificate in from an Office/Business Administrative or Medical Secretary program At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative position in a health care organization-preferably primary care Excellent customer service skills Ability to balance multiple priorities and a keen sense of organization Excellent information technology skills including working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and Electronic Medical Records- Practice Solutions experience an asset Excellent, written, verbal and interpersonal skills Flexibility in your availability for work hours will be required Flexibility in your ability to work from Breslau, Cambridge, and Kitchener sites as required Ability to maintain information in confidence and respect sensitive information Vacancy Type: Existing Hourly Rate: $22.05 to $24.89 per hour Position Type: Temporary Full-time (24 month contract) WRNPLC celebrates diversity and is devoted to creating an inclusive and equal opportunity environment for all employees.
