You understand the importance of establishing a relationship between the patient and yourself in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for your patients. You are accountable for establishing and evaluating the patient’s plan of care in partnership with the patient, their carers and other members of the health care team. Requirements
Applicants must be registered nurses with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through AHPRA and hold current, satisfactory Police and Working with Children checks. Desirable qualifications and experience include general medicine nursing, cannulation credentialing, venepuncture, female catheterisation, use of surefusers and syringe drivers, and postgraduate study in care of older people.
