JOB TITLE: NURSING ASSISTANTS/HEALTH CARE AIDES DEPARTMENT: NURSING CLASSIFICATION: HEU, NURSING ASSISTANT 1 REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF CARE Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Resident Care/RN/LPN, assists residents with the activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, spiritual and recreation needs. All duties are performed in a manner conducive to the safety, comfort, and dignity of the resident. Guided by the Mission and Values, the HCA operates with an attitude of caring and competency guided by the policies and procedures of Tabor Village. All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Education, Training, & Experience Completion of an approved Resident Care Aide Program or equivalent. Current Registration with the Care Aide Health Worker Registry. Previous experience in residential care an asset. Physical ability to carry out duties of the position. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Surge Learning up to date. Skills & Abilities Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment.

Requirements
