RESPONSIBILITIES Note: These responsibilities may vary based on the individual's needs and the care setting. Caregivers play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of those they assist. PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANCE * Helping clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support as assigned. MEAL PREPARATION * Planning and preparing nutritious meals and accommodating special diets. MEDICATION REMINDERS * Assisting with medication reminders. COMPANIONSHIP AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT * Providing social interaction, engaging in conversations, and participating in activities to promote mental well-being. LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING * Performing light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment. TRANSPORTATION AND ERRANDS * Assisting with transportation to medical appointments, shopping, and other errands as needed.
