Preview Proceed to Checkout Pay Later Cancel Part Time Positions ◄ Back to All Categories Paramedic (Part-Time)-(Posting# 53360) Description: This position is responsible for responding to emergency calls, at the paramedic level, to determine the extent of illness or injury and establishing priorities for required care as well as performing emergency medical care in accordance with established guidelines and written and verbal instructions from physicians. Other duties include: administering medications and IV solutions and inserting airways; transporting persons to the appropriate medical facilities; and performing related tasks as required. Requirements: High school diploma or GED and completion of NC Officer of EMS approved training program. Possession of North Carolina Paramedic credential. Obtain CIT training and NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 certifications within six months of hire. Valid driver's license in the State of North Carolina. Please provide a photocopy of all certifications. Compensation: The salary rate for this position is $26.75 per hour. The person selected for this part-time position may work up to 24 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
