Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Med-Surg) Location: British Columbia, Canada Employment Type: Travel Contract Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Med-Surg) to join our healthcare team in British Columbia. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Medical-Surgical patients. Monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards. Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and escalate care when required. Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Minimum of one year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred. Current BLS certification; ACLS certification is considered an asset. Requirements
