Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) position in our Laboratory. The primary location for this position is: Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll Key Responsibilities Required to collect, prepare, label and refer laboratory specimens; Clerical duties as applicable. Qualifications Completed post-secondary course at an officially recognized community college or technical institution related to phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Assistant Program. Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant (OMST) required. 2 years' experience in phlebotomy in a hospital environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deescalate and provide a positive patient experience. Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis. Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable.
