PAEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – CLINIC BASED Salary: £38,500 – £47,000 (FTE) Location: Surrey Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client provides specialist occupational therapy services to children aged 0–16 years in a clinic setting. Children may present with a range of diagnoses, including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Speech and Language delays/disorders, global developmental delay, or neurological conditions. The service is built around a child-centred approach, using a structured three-step process: * Identify: Comprehensive assessments to determine strengths and challenges. * Educate: Sharing knowledge with families and schools to ensure needs are understood and supported. * Accelerate: Delivering tailored therapy packages with individualised goals and activity programmes to help children reach their full potential. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT THE ROLE As an Occupational Therapist, you will: * Work as an autonomous practitioner managing a clinical caseload. * Undertake assessments using both standardised and informal tools. * Interpret assessment data and produce detailed clinical reports. * Develop child- and family-centred treatment plans using goal attainment scaling. * Deliver 1:1 and small group therapy sessions in the clinic. * Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping. * Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and manage risk.
