Your expertise will help promote healthy smiles while providing outstanding patient education and support. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. * Take digital X-rays, ensuring accurate diagnostics and patient comfort. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies. * Assist with patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and updating dental records using Tracker practice management software. * Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety. * Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and treatment plan explanations to enhance the patient experience. * Maintain a clean, organized operatories and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols. *Qualifications* * Valid licenence as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). * Good standing with CDHO * Proven experience in dental hygiene. * Proficiency with Tracker or similar dental practice management software. * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient health records. * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. * Previous dental assisting or office experience is advantageous for supporting team operations.
