Pilgrims Hospice Society offers programs to support those living with life threatening or life limiting illness, to their families, caregivers, and the bereaved. Hospice Care is a concept of support intended to improve quality of life by promoting choice and independence. At Pilgrims Hospicce our focus is on caring and living as fully as possible. It is our pledge of Care and Compassion. We celebrate life and embrace the body, mind and spirit. We work closely with health providers to meet our clients needs. Pilgrims Hospice is Edmonton's only non-profit voluntary hospice. We are funded by the community, organizations, businesses, charitable foundations and people like you. You can help by: 1. Provide direct care to residents to assist with activities of daily living, comfort, and safety under the supervision of nursing staff. Support the inter-disciplinary team in delivering holistic palliative end-of-life care and emotional support to families.
