MÖWE Clinical Division Position: Part-Time, with transition to Full-Time Schedule: 2 days per week initially; opportunity to transition to full-time after approximately 3 months Compensation: $40–$55/hour, based on experience and qualifications About the Role MÖWE is looking for a motivated and patient-focused Registered Physiotherapist with experience in Pelvic Health and Sports Medicine to join our growing clinical team. The successful candidate will provide hands-on assessment and treatment to patients in our clinic, with a caseload that may include pelvic health, sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, mobility and return-to-sport rehabilitation. We are initially hiring for 2 days per week, with the intention of developing this position into a full-time role after approximately 3 months as the caseload grows. Key Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized evidence-based treatment plans. * Assess and treat pelvic health conditions, within the physiotherapist’s training and scope of practice. * Treat sports and musculoskeletal injuries, including acute and chronic conditions. * Provide rehabilitation for post-operative and orthopaedic patients. * Develop progressive exercise, strengthening, mobility and return-to-activity/return-to-sport programs. * Provide manual therapy and other appropriate physiotherapy interventions. * Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, home exercise program and injury prevention. * Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when required. * Maintain accurate, timely and professional clinical documentation. * Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals when appropriate. * Maintain excellent standards of patient care, privacy, professionalism and clinic safety. Pelvic Health Responsibilities The successful candidate should be comfortable assessing and treating appropriate pelvic health presentations, which may include: * Pelvic floor dysfunction * Pelvic pain * Urinary incontinence * Pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation * Core and pelvic floor rehabilitation * Return to exercise and sport following pregnancy * Other pelvic health conditions within the physiotherapist’s education, competency and scope of practice Qualifications & Requirements * Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. * Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution. * Pelvic Health Physiotherapy training/certification with competency to provide pelvic health assessment and treatment. * Strong background or demonstrated interest in sports medicine, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. * Appropriate professional liability insurance. * Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred. * Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment-planning skills. * Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-education skills. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the MÖWE clinical team. * Commitment to evidence-informed practice, continuing education and high standards of patient care. Preferred Assets Experience or additional training in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, return-to-sport programming, dry needling/acupuncture, concussion management, post-operative rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, or other advanced musculoskeletal techniques would be considered an asset.
