What You’ll Do Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records Support front desk operations when needed, including scheduling and patient communication Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment What You’ll Bring to the Role Certification as a Dental Assistant with BCCOHP Dental assisting experience is preferred, but motivated individuals willing to learn are welcome Experience with Tracker and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) is considered an asset Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team Why Join Our Team Academy Dental offers the opportunity to work in a thriving practice with a loyal, long-term patient base and an experienced, supportive team.
