Perform delegated basic nursing and technical tasks, including patient care, monitoring, specimen collection, transport, documentation, and room preparation. Maintain a clean and safe care environment, follow infection-control and fall-prevention practices, and promptly report patient changes or concerns to the RN.

Assess and support new patients referred to the structural heart specialty program, coordinate appointments, records, diagnostic studies, and referrals, and provide education and emotional support throughout care. Serve as a liaison among patients, physicians, and care teams while contributing to program goals, outcome reporting, and quality improvement.

The Cardiology Nurse provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care plans for cardiology patients. Responsibilities include managing patient workflow, performing clinical procedures like EKGs, and coordinating discharge planning with healthcare teams.
