Summary

The Medical Device Development Support Technician is responsible for performing technical tasks related to Medical Device Development projects.

Responsabilities

  • Assist in the creation of Design Verification and Validation protocols and reports.
  • Perform and document Design Verification and validation tests with strict adherence to the protocol while respecting good documentation practices.
  • Prepare samples and prototype devices for engineering and design verification tests.
  • Managetest equipment maintenance and calibration of the Medical Device Development Team laboratory space and equipment.
  • Provide General Technical support to the Medical Device Development Team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering Technician Diploma
  • Fluent in English
  • Experienced in the repair/maintenance of electro-mechanical machines.
  • Experience operating CNC machines for plastic and metal fabrication
  • Experience operating 3D printers
  • Experience working with test equipment/instruments
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (asset)
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills
