All eye-related services under one roof at our eyewear store! Optiprix was founded in 1995 and renovated in 2022.

We are located in Granby; 10 minutes from Highway 10

Full time or part time

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examine patients' eyes and perform examinations using ophthalmoscopes, biomicroscopes and other specialized devices to determine ocular health and visual acuity;
• Prescribe and administer treatments (excluding surgical procedures) to save, improve and correct vision, and manage other eye diseases and disorders;
• Prescribe, dispense and adjust glasses, contact lenses and other visual aids;
• Educate and advise patients on contact lens use and care, eye hygiene, surgical and non-surgical options, work and lifestyle preventive care and maintenance;
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other physicians and surgeons for treatment of eye problems or diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration, and generalized conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure;
• Prescribe, if necessary, medications from a restricted list.

• Doctorate (Desired)

Experience:

• optometry: 1 year (Desired)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
