Our growing team of  professionals specializes in areas of child development, early intervention and assessment across a wide range of needs. Speech and Language Pathogists are a valued part of our multidisciplinary team and in very high demand among the community we serve.

We are looking for an SLP  that recognizes the individuality of each client and who possesses an enthusiasm for helping kids and youth meet the speech, language and communication goals that are most important to them. This SLP position requires experience in and a passion for early intervention, assessment, and treatment of speech and language problems and communication disorders as well as feeding difficulties.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct assessments and formulate goals, and recommendations for a broad range of speech and language challenges and communication disorders
  • Liaise with clients and families to design and implement individualized treatment plans 
  • Provide the highest quality of direct service, consultation, and education to clients/families that emphasize a family/person-centered approach
  • Collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary professionals and attend staff meetings, team-building events and trainig as required

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Minimum number of 2-3 years experience
  • Currently registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Experience with children with neurodevelopmental disorders is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting clients with speech and language challenges including but not limited to: apraxia, orofacial myofunctional disorders, speech & sound/articulation disorders, stuttering, and ASD related challenges
  • Additional training an asset (e.g., It Takes Two to Talk®, More Than Words®, Learning Language and Loving It™) (an asset)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, families, and other members of the professional healthcare team
  • Vulnerable sector screening (within 6 months)
  • Must have (or willing to get) CPR and First Aid
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
