Job Summary

The Specialist, Constituency Services is responsible for providing planning, organizational and governance support to assigned constituency groups and serving as the primary liaison between the constituency Executive, its members, external stakeholders and the OMA.

You Will Make a Difference By

  • Providing professional, responsible, and diversified support to the Constituency leaders and other Executives.
  • Liaising with members, external stakeholders, and OMA staff on behalf of the Constituency Group.
  • Coordinating initiative implementations and ensuring enhancements are incorporated into day-to-day activities.
  • Reviewing and proposing improvements to internal processes and administrative operations.
  • Identifying issues, track concerns and manage issue resolution.
  • Organizing and monitoring stakeholder consultations for the Constituency Group.
  • Coordinating all Constituency Group initiatives associated with OMA Council meetings.
  • Developing and implementing physician leader orientation and mentorship initiatives.
  • Contributing to the development of, and coordinating amendments to, the Constituency Group's Rules and Regulations or Terms of Reference (TOR). Contributing to the research and development of governance policies.
  • Monitoring Constituency Group activity on OMA Exchange and contributing to the implementation of discussion forums.
  • Contributing to the development of resources and communications to Constituency Group members and relevant external stakeholders.

Requirements That Are Important to Us

  • 6-9 years relevant experience.  Experience in initiative implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • College degree in health or business administration.
