Facilities Manager
Full-Time Regular Position @ 1.0 FTE (37.5 hours/week)
Parkdale Queen West Community Health Centre (PQWCHC) is a dynamic, community-based health care organization serving mid-west downtown Toronto. Offering a broad range of services, including primary health care, dental care, harm reduction, health promotion, counselling, and community development programming, we are also committed to serving people who face barriers to health care, and we strive to reduce these barriers. PQWCHC is a multi-sited organization.
General Responsibilities: The facilities manager brings to the organization experience in building a facilities team, supervising staff, and managing contractors. With a small team, the Facilities manager is expected to do hands on work to support staff. In the facilities management role, the successful candidate will have accountability for managing the various properties and be the point of contact for tenants and property owners. The job requires that the successful candidate works regular and extended hours as required by the Centre’s operations. The manager will be on call 24 hours as required
