ï‚·Client Service Orientated
ï‚·Ability to work within a flexible schedule and adaptable environment
ï‚·Physical capabilities to perform the duties of the position.
ï‚·Completion of Master's in Social Work program from a recognized institution in the province of Ontario.
ï‚·ô€€€Current active registration as a Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
Encourage staff to work with a range of individuals through the provision of support, coaching, encouragement, educationand direction
ï‚·Completion of a Master's Degree in Social Work program from a recognized institution in the province of Ontario.Current active registration as a Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSW).ï‚·Valid Ontario driver's license and the use of a reliable vehicle.ï‚·Clear vulnerable sector screen.ï‚·Acceptable criminal record check with annual offense declaration.ï‚·Disclosure of accommodation needs.ï‚·Excellent mentorship available. New graduates welcome to apply.ï‚·Experience of working as a Social Worker with a wide range of clients, in a variety of settings, covering all age groups. As majority of clients in Owen Sound, ON are adults, previous work experience is an asset
The role will require:
ï‚·Provides Social services to clients in the Owen Sound, ON area including establishing, monitoring and delivering services to clients in a community setting.ï‚·Promotes client safety by Following the Client Safety Standard and assessing for safety and risk of harm to the client.ï‚·Liaises with care coordinators at referring agencies in the Owen Sound, ON area regarding client care.ï‚·Confers with other professionals, service providers and family members/caregivers.ï‚·Maintains records and statistics to a standard appropriate for medico-legal purposes, to professional standards, and as directed.ï‚·Attends and participates in staff meetings and serves on committees as required.ï‚·Efficiently maintains and manages assigned caseload.
