Title: Nurse Permanent Full-Time
Location: Hope Home outside of Guelph in Ariss
Hours: Up to 80 hours biweekly could include days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays
Hopewell is a not-for-profit registered charity governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We were established in Ariss, Ontario in 1983 by John and Johanna Oosterhuis.
Hopewell provides high-quality personal care for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and complex needs, as well as support for their families.
Our unique culture and well-deserved reputation for extraordinary staff and exceptional care have allowed Hopewell to expand to seven locations, meeting the needs of over 500 families throughout Wellington County.
Under the guidance of the Clinical Nurse Manager, the Nurse works as a professional within a clinical multidisciplinary team that follows a biopsychosocial model of intervention for children, youth and adults with complex developmental, physical and emotional care needs. The Nurse works alongside of the Direct Care Support Worker to assist in maintaining high quality supports for all clients. The Nurse is primarily responsible for supporting the health care support needs of clients.
Special Hiring Considerations
Diploma in Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science, Nursing.
Member of the Ontario College of Nurses in Good Standing.
Valid G License.
Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, employees cannot work in more than one congregate care home at a time.
Must be able to provide 2 professional/academic references at the time of the interview.
