Where will you be working?: Vancouver

How is this position unique?: 

  • When you join us full time, we will guarantee payment for 32 hours/week regardless of how many day shifts you are assigned! Enjoy the benefit of having consistent and predictable pay while working one-one-one with our VIP clients in their own homes.

What are the expectations for availability?:

  • That you will provide us with 5 DAYS you are available. Weekend availability is preferred.  Our busiest times are between 7am and 7pm. 

  • Your availability CANNOT change within the first 3 months

  • You would need to be available to cover any open shifts on the days of the week you are available

What shifts are available?:  

  • 1-hour to 12-hour DAY shifts 7 days/week

Job Requirements:

  • Creates Happier Aging experiences and client focused care in home and community settings

  • Delivers on our Brand Promise by owning the client's experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families

  • Assists clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc.

  • Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment)

  • Negative TB test (updated every 5 years for continued employment)

  • Proof of health care certification as a Registered Care Aide

  • Ability to travel independently to client's visits

  • Communication skills, both written and verbal at a high school graduate level

  • Driver's License and access to a car is preferred but not a requirement

Compensation: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour based on availability and experience
