MISSION: Creating an environment where business can succeed. o Since 1920, the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce has served our community and created an environment where business can succeed. We provide community information to thousands of individuals across the country – helping people who want to know about Nacogdoches, and introducing our business members in the process. o We provide low-cost seminars such as Business Boot Camp, A Passion for Service, Social Media, and the QuickBooks series. These workshops assist business people in starting and maintaining successful ventures. o We serve hundreds of walk-in visitors and newcomers to our facility, providing a friendly front door to the businesses, attractions and educational facilities of Nacogdoches. o We produce Nacogdoches – SFA Days in Austin and the Lone Star Legislative Summit. o We list each Chamber member in a searchable database on our website: www.nacogdoches.org, where each member can have a direct link to their own website and e-mail address for free! o We sponsor the NOBLE Scholars and Great Expectations programs, where business volunteers encourage junior high students to take a more challenging curriculum in math and science.
