Job Description: Our childcare center in Bond Head is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a deep understanding of child development, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children. \*\*Responsibilities:\*\* * Daily Reporting and Record Keeping - Attendance, Allergy, Medication, Communication Logs * Plan and develop program webs in line with children's interests. Monthly calendars will be provided so that teachers are able to create a program that meets all targets to engage all children * Programming must be child directed, and teacher supported in accordance with "How Does Learning Happen?" * Support children with emotional, physical, or behavioral problems and help develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills * Provide support for children in the classroom and enable them to fully participate in activities * Maintain up-to-date emergency cards, attendance, and health and safety checks * Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary * Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms, program reporting * Manage and maintain an orderly classroom - follow cleaning schedules and room routines * Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA * Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops * Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time \*\*Qualifications:\*\* - Early Childhood Education diploma or degree - Valid Standard First Aid CPR level C Certificate - Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators - Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children - Strong knowledge of child development and early learning principles - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Vulnerable Sector Check received within the last 6 months or will require a new one -2 Step Tb testing to be completed and have an up to date Immunization Record * *English Speaking Requirement.
