The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within a multidisciplinary family-centered environment. They provide specialized care to a general medicine and acute cardiac patient population. Candidates must hold a current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have at least one year of medical/surgical or coronary care nursing experience. Required certifications include CPR at a basic Cardiac Life Support level and completion of a Coronary Care I or Telemetry course.
