*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join Autism Day Program. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' communication abilities and overall quality of life within a dynamic clinical setting. Experience in hospital environments, acute care, pediatrics, and case management is highly valued. The position involves providing patient-centered care with a focus on evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration. *Responsibilities* * Assess patients' speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions through comprehensive evaluations. * Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. * Implement therapy techniques to improve speech and language skills, including articulation, language comprehension, and social communication. * Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly. * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans. * Document patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in accordance with healthcare regulations. * Educate patients and their families on strategies to support communication development or rehabilitation at home. * Maintain current knowledge of medical terminology and advancements in speech-language pathology practices. * In person centre position, Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm *Qualifications* * Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. * Must be enrolled with College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO * Prior experience in working with children and teenagers with developmental disabilities is preferred. * Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings. * Proven skills in case management and patient care coordination. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. * Ability to adapt therapy approaches based on individual patient needs and clinical observations.
