Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department Locations: British Columbia, Canada Professional Summary Russell Tobin is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel assignments in Emergency Departments across British Columbia. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering high-quality emergency care while working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries. Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring. Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments. Assist with trauma, resuscitation, and critical care interventions. Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Respond effectively to medical emergencies and changing patient conditions. Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR systems. Follow BCCNM standards, infection control protocols, and organizational policies. Qualifications Required Qualifications Current registration and good standing with BCCNM. Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience. Current BLS Certification. ACLS Certification. Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and workflows. Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays. Preferred Qualifications TNCC Certification. PALS Certification. Previous travel nursing experience. Experience in high-volume or high-acuity Emergency Departments. Position Details Assignment Length: 4-13 Weeks (Potential Extension) Schedule and Shifts: Full-time hours (80 Hours Bi-Weekly) with rotating shifts based on operational needs Compensation: CAD $52-$65 per Hour Benefits Travel and accommodation support provided. Overtime pay, stat holiday pay, and applicable travel-time compensation. Full-time hours (80 Hours Bi-Weekly). Opportunity to work in multiple hospital locations across British Columbia.
