Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a dental office or clinical setting. * Familiarity with dental practice management software. * Additional certifications such as Radiography certification or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) designation. * Strong communication skills in both English and French. * Continuing education in dental assisting or related fields. Responsibilities: * Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all dental instruments and materials are sterilized and organized before procedures. * Assist dentists during various dental procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and providing patient comfort. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required, following safety protocols. * Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and medical histories. * Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions. * Manage inventory of dental supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and workplace safety standards. * Schedule patient appointments and assist with administrative duties as needed.
