The Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) performs duties as outlined by the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP), under the direction of the operating dentist. Working within a team environment, the CDA assists with General Dentistry and Specialty procedures, maintains clinical infection control, and supports the organized flow of procedures and client care.
