We make technology work for staff and physicians; giving them more time to spend with patients, to eliminate inefficiencies, and to reduce the chance of errors. We are formally affiliated with both the University of Toronto and Queen’s University and committed to becoming a community academic hospital. Administer chemotherapy and other medications and treatments, assess patients, and plan and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team. Document care using computerized systems, serve as a team resource and leader, and support nursing students and new staff through preceptorship and mentorship.

Provide nursing care to medical, geriatric, alternate-level-of-care, palliative, neurology, and hip-fracture inpatients, including assessment and pain management. Plan and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team, document care using computerized systems, and contribute to team leadership, student preceptorship, and hospital projects or committees.
