Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology an patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients. Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training * Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) * Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable * Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable * Nursing diploma is acceptable Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to promote effective relationships within the SHA and the community. * Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making * Knowledge in nursing process * Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement. * Ability to exercise independent nursing judgement * Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas. Requirements

A nursing degree or diploma is required; acceptable credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing, a psychiatric nursing diploma, or a nursing diploma. A Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate and registration or eligibility with the relevant Saskatchewan nursing regulatory college are required, along with sound clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and professional judgment.
