Position #: 9014447 Expected Start Date: October 15, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: St Josephs Hospital - SHA City/Town: Estevan Department: Primary Care Sites Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 15, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job Description: Under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services to Primary Health Care clients within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required Education * Graduate from an approved School of Nursing Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making * Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas. * Demonstrates effective relationships with staff, patients/clients, and families * Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement. * Demonstrated independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment * Knowledge in nursing process * Demonstrate communication skills to create positive outcomes/build relationships Other Information * Community nursing experience is an asset * Utilization of electronic medical records is an asset The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
