The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care. Human Resources Exemption: No Education • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses • Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training • Nursing diploma is acceptable • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Competencies • Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice • Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities • Ability to be proactive and creative in decision making • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships/partnerships • Ability to competently use computers and software applications • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team • Ability to communicate with clients from diverse social backgrounds Other Information • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) • Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS • May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives • Leoville is located approximately 154 km northeast of North Battleford • No guaranteed hours.
