Reporting to the Nurse Manager Iqaluit Home and Community Care, the Home Care Nurse provides nursing and support services to the elderly, chronically ill and disabled patients throughout the life cycle. Department of Health The Department of Health (HEA) is responsible for health services and social programming in Nunavut. Staff at HEA work to improve the health and well-being of Nunavummiut by addressing the differing needs of each community through culturally appropriate programs and services.

The Home Care Nurse provides nursing and support services to elderly, chronically ill, and disabled patients. The role focuses on promoting the optimal level of functioning in activities of daily living.

Requires a Bachelor of Nursing with two years of related experience and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
