The Department of Health is responsible for health services and social programming in Nunavut. Reporting to the Territorial Health Education Manager, the Clinical Nurse Educator works with nursing service managers to identify nursing competencies in all areas of nursing services (medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, emergency, ambulatory, operating room nursing services), assisting managers with the assessment of nursing practices, identify learning need providing clinical expertise, and teaching and/or coordinating teaching orientation.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing and at least three years of broad-based clinical experience, specifically in obstetrics, pediatrics, and critical care. Candidates must be eligible for registration with CANNN and pass a criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
