The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions within a specialty nursing unit. They collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure person-centered care and effective discharge planning. Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the BCCNM. Completion of or willingness to complete post-graduate specialty nursing courses and current BCLS certification are required.
