The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions within a specialty unit. They collaborate with an interprofessional team to develop care plans and ensure comprehensive patient support throughout the discharge process. Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing with current BCCNM registration. They are also required to hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and be willing to complete post-graduate specialty nursing coursework.
