The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions for cardiac patients. They collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop care plans and ensure effective discharge planning. Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BCCNM. Completion of or willingness to complete post-graduate specialty nursing courses and current BCLS certification are required.
