The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides recovery-oriented care and ensures effective linkage between hospital inpatient units and community mental health services. They perform crisis counselling, suicide prevention, and short-term follow-up to support children and adolescents while reducing hospital bed utilization. Candidates must have graduation from an approved School of Nursing and current practicing registration with the BCCNM. A minimum of two years of recent, related experience in a child and adolescent psychiatric setting or crisis stabilization function is required.
