The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions within a specialized seniors clinic. They also collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop care plans and educate patients and families on geriatric health management. Candidates must have graduated from an approved school of nursing and hold current registration with the BCCNM. A minimum of two years of recent acute care experience working with a geriatric population is required.
