The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions within an acute medical unit. They collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure person-centered care and effective discharge planning. Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BCCNM. Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is also required.
